I have always considered myself to be an artist. From elementary school, I would recognize that my drawings were decent, and in my free time, I would always be drawing or painting as a kid. I even made my parents buy me an easel when I was only 8 years old. As I have grown my passion for art has not only continued but grown. In middle school, I auditioned to be in a studio art class that was for an older age group and got accepted. I then furthered my portfolio by joining the AP art class at my high school. Moreover, I have always found to have a special bond with my art teachers over the years. I feel as though if you are passionate about the subject it helps you connect with your teachers in a different way. I am now 22 and have turned my passion for art into a degree and hopefully a career. I have always been a very illustrative person and I have always loved technology so combining the two and getting my Bachelor's in Graphic Design has been a great experience. Overall, my journey as an artist has been a very rewarding one and I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
